MTG Commander Heart of the Mountain Tournament Saturday 9/5/2026 @ 12 PM

Rounds: 3 (55 min rounds. When time is called, the game ends at the end of the current turn.)

In this special gimmick format, players will battle for control of the legendary Arkenstone!

Special Rules:

The first player to deal combat damage to another becomes the first owner of the Arkenstone. Players may then claim the Arkenstone emblem for themselves by dealing combat damage to the owner, gaining bonuses while in possession of it—and also becoming the primary target at the table!

Each turn that a player controls the Arkenstone, during their upkeep phase they increase their ownership count by one (they do not lose this count if someone takes the Arkenstone from them). If a player's ownership count reaches three, they win the game.

Round 1:  Players will be randomly assigned to pods of 3 or 4.

Round 2 & 3: Players will be assigned to pods of 3 or 4 based on record.

​Points: Round winner = 3, Tie = 1

Prizes:

All players: 3 packs of available Standard play boosters (2 if Universes Beyond set)

Promo packs will be awarded at random based on number of pods.

Players receive a special promo card, while supplies last.
